The theatre is set in such a picturesque location, just by the canal. So I have to say, I have to give additional points to the play just for the location alone 😜
The theatre space is tiny, with maybe 20 seats, which gives a nice intimate feel.

“Hippie Shakes” is delivered as a one mother’s monologue about her family’s story in the ’70s. Is starts normally, as a typical wife and husband story, but quickly turns into a Euro trip with 5 kids and then a drug smuggling anecdote. Lot of things are happening during the short 1 hour of show!
It’s all accompanied by live music, rock classics that we all know and love.
If you’re a fan of good storytelling, or just enjoy music of that era, this show will make your evening much more fun.
